Ingredients
Milk 4 cups
Coffee 2 cups, strong brewed
Sugar 1/2 cup, granulated
Vanilla Extract 2 teaspoons
Ice 4 cups, crushed or cubed
Whipped Cream for topping
Instructions
Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and chill in the refrigerator.
In a blender, combine 1 1/2 cups milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
Pour crushed ice into four serving glasses.
Layer equal portions of chilled brewed coffee over the ice.
Top each glass with a layer of the sweetened milk mixture.
Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of additional syrup if desired.
Notes
Use chilled brewed coffee or reconstituted instant coffee for convenience.
Substitute dairy-free milk for a vegan option.
Adjust sugar to taste or use honey/maple syrup for a different flavor profile.
Layering works best with a small offset spoon, mason jar strainer, or siphon bottle.
