Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup melted butter (halal-certified, unsalted)
4 cups sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen, thawed)
¼ cup sugar
16 oz cool whip or whipped topping (halal-certified, store-bought or homemade)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Prepare the Crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan using the back of a measuring cup.
Sweeten the Strawberries: In a separate bowl, combine sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Toss to coat and set aside.
Assemble the Dessert: Spread the whipped topping over the crust, smoothing it out evenly. Layer the sweetened strawberries on top of the whipped topping.
Chill the Dessert: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
Serve: Slice into pieces and enjoy cold.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberries and halal-certified ingredients.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
You can customize the dessert by adding extra whipped topping on top for a decorative finish.
