Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
cloves (approx. 2 cups) fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
Prepare 6-8 glass dessert cups or ramekins.
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter to form a thick paste.
Pack 1 tablespoon of the crust mixture into the bottom of each cup.
In a bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Whip 1 cup heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture.
Spoon 2 tablespoons of the cheesecake filling over the crust in each cup.
Arrange a small heap of chopped strawberries on top (approx. 2 tablespoons of fruit).
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Chop strawberries into 1/4″ pieces for even distribution
Use room-temperature cream cheese for smoother mixing
Trifles can be prepared 8 hours ahead
Top with additional fruit slices for garnish just before serving
Substitute gluten-free graham crackers if avoiding wheat
