2 large sliced bananas (spotty for sweetness)
1 box vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 can whipped topping (or non-dairy alternative)
24 ladyfingers (gluten-free if needed)
1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers (vegan option available)
Instructions
Crush graham crackers in a food processor.
Press the crumb mixture into a 2 1/2-quart trifle bowl.
Chill the base for 5 minutes.
Prepare pudding by mixing with 2 cups cold milk per package instructions.
Whip topping until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the pudding.
Layer 12 ladyfingers over the chilled crust, slightly overlapping.
Spread half the pudding mixture evenly.
Top with 1 cup strawberries in an even distribution.
Repeat ladyfingers and remaining pudding mixture.
Garnish with 1 cup strawberries and top with whipped topping (optional final layer of crushed graham crackers).
Notes
Substitute non-dairy milk and pudding for vegan/halal adaptations.
Keep chilled for at least 2 hours before serving.
Stable up to 8 hours in the fridge. Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.
