Ingredients
Frozen whipped topping, thawed (8 oz)
Cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
Powdered sugar (1/2 cup)
Milk (1/4 cup)
Strawberry flavored instant pudding mix (1 oz)
Vanilla ice cream sandwiches (24 pieces)
Fresh sliced strawberries (2 cups)
Instructions
Thaw whipped topping completely
In a large bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth
Fold in prepared instant pudding mix
Assemble using a 9″ square dish: layer 1/3 cream cheese mixture, 8 ice cream sandwiches, 1/3 cream cheese mixture, 8 ice cream sandwiches, and 1/3 cream cheese mixture
Smooth top, refrigerate for 30 minutes
Top with remaining strawberry instant pudding mix (prepared per package instructions), add sliced strawberries
Return to freezer and freeze for 6 hours or overnight
Allow to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing
Notes
Use halal-certified ice cream sandwiches if required
Substitute non-dairy milk for dietary preferences
For stabilized whipped cream, use 1 cup heavy cream + 2 tbsp sugar, whip until stiff peaks form
