Ingredients
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
6 tablespoons butter, melted
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, cold
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Instructions
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter to form cookie crust
Press crust mixture into the bottom of 6 serving cups or jars
In a bowl, blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth
Stir in vanilla extract
Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into cream cheese mixture
Layer ½ the whipped cream filling into each cup
Top with sliced strawberries and remaining filling
Chill for 1 hour before serving
Notes
Crust can be made with digestive biscuits or shortbread cookies
For best texture, allow filling to chill for at least 1 hour
Use room-temperature cream cheese to avoid a lumpy mixture
Reserve extra strawberries for garnish before serving
Adjust powdered sugar amount to personal sweetness preference
