Ingredients
36 Oreo cookies
6 tbsp butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
2 cups heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a sealed zip-top bag.
Combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter in a medium mixing bowl.
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Freeze the crust for 15 minutes to stabilize the butter.
Beat the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until completely smooth.
Fold in half of the whipped heavy cream gently to maintain an airy consistency.
Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours to allow the layer to set.
Create the ganache by melting the chocolate chips with the remaining whipped cream.
Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer and smooth the top.
Chill for an additional 2 hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is at true room temperature before mixing to prevent lumps. For the cleanest slices, dip your knife in hot water and wipe it dry between each cut. Keep the dessert refrigerated until the moment of serving for the best texture.
