Ingredients
24 whole graham crackers
4 large Granny Smith apples
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
4 cups cold milk
16 oz whipped topping, thawed
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Slice the apples into thin, uniform pieces.
Whisk the instant pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl for two minutes until thickened.
Fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture to create a light mousse.
Arrange a layer of graham crackers at the bottom of a 9×13 inch glass baking dish.
Spread one-third of the pudding mixture over the crackers and smooth with a spatula.
Place one layer of apple slices over the pudding and sprinkle with a light dusting of cinnamon.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a final layer of pudding.
Drizzle the top generously with caramel sauce.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the crackers to soften.
Notes
Ensure the milk is ice-cold to ensure the pudding sets perfectly. You may substitute graham crackers with vanilla wafers for a different flavor profile. Store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to 3 days.
