Ingredients
2 large ripe mangoes
1 large fresh dragon fruit (about 1 cup chopped)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (from 4–6 lemons)
2–3 cups water
1/4 – 1/2 cup sweetener (agave nectar, simple syrup, or honey)
4 cups ice (crushed or cubed)
Optional garnish: Mint sprigs, lemon slices, fresh fruit chunks
Instructions
Peel and chop ripe mangoes into chunks
Scoop flesh from dragon fruit
Blend mango chunks until smooth to make puree
Blend dragon fruit flesh until smooth to make puree
In a pitcher, combine mango puree, dragon fruit puree, lemon juice, and sweetener
Add water gradually, blending until smooth and desired consistency is achieved
Add ice to pitcher and stir until slightly slushy
Serve immediately in chilled glasses with optional garnish
Notes
Use fresh dragon fruit for optimal color and flavor; dragon fruit powder can be substituted if unavailable
Adjust water quantity based on desired slushy consistency
Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sweetener if needed
