Ingredients
2 cups frozen strawberries (unsweetened, if possible)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (or bottled, but less vibrant)
2–4 tablespoons agave nectar or simple syrup
1/4 cup orange juice (unsweetened)
1/4 cup water or coconut water
Fresh strawberries (for garnish)
Lime slices (for garnish or rimming)
Instructions
Chill two margarita glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes
In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, lime juice, agave nectar, orange juice, and water (or coconut water). Blend until smooth, starting with 2 tablespoons of agave nectar and adjusting to taste
Pour the mixture into the chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh strawberries and lime slices
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh lime juice
Substitute coconut water for a tropical twist
Adjust sweetness by adding more agave nectar or diluting with water
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 30 minutes before serving
