Ingredients
1 pound fresh strawberries (about 2 cups hulled and sliced)
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, packed
1/4 cup lime juice (from 2–3 limes)
1/4 cup simple syrup (adjust to taste)
2–3 cups chilled sparkling water or club soda
Ice cubes, for serving
Instructions
Hull strawberries and gently muddle them with mint leaves in a large pitcher.
Add lime juice and stir.
Whisk in simple syrup and stir until well combined.
Top with ice and chilled sparkling water.
Adjust sweetness with additional syrup if desired.
Serve immediately with mint sprigs as garnish.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, muddle ingredients for 30 seconds before mixing.
Minimize mint bitterness by using glass straws instead of metal/wire ones.
Increase sparkling water for a lighter taste.
Frozen strawberries may slightly dilute the flavor.
