Ingredients
1 cup (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon (alcohol-free) vanilla extract
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal
In a large bowl, mix melted butter and peanut butter until smooth
Stir in confectioners’ sugar and alcohol-free vanilla extract until well combined
Add graham cracker crumbs and mix until fully incorporated
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan
Melt milk chocolate chips with 1–2 tablespoons of melted butter in a microwave-safe bowl
Spread melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer
Chill the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until firm
Cut into 12 pieces using a sharp knife
Notes
For halal compliance, use melted unsalted butter for the chocolate topping
Graham cracker crumbs can be replaced with digestive biscuits or shortbread crumbs
Bars can be wrapped individually and stored in the fridge for up to 5 days
