Ingredients
4 cups frozen strawberries (pre-frozen or fresh berries flash-frozen in freezer)
1 cup fresh lemon juice (from 6–8 medium lemons)
3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste or substitute with honey/agave)
1 cup water (for simple syrup)
1 cup ice cubes (optional for texture)
Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
Combine 1 cup water and 3/4 cup granulated sugar in a small saucepan
Heat on medium, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves (10–15 minutes)
Let simple syrup cool completely
Add 4 cups frozen strawberries to a high-powered blender
Pour cooled simple syrup into blender
Add 1 cup fresh lemon juice
Blend until smooth (3–5 minutes for optimal consistency)
Optionally stir in 1 cup ice cubes if desired for thicker texture
Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup or water
Divide into glasses and garnish with fresh mint sprigs
Notes
Tartness level can be adjusted by adding more or less lemon juice
Mint is optional but enhances presentation and flavor
Drink best fresh (can be stored airtight in fridge for 1 day)
Add water gradually if mixture becomes too thick
For non-diabetic versions, reduce substitution sweeteners as needed
