Instructions
Combine blueberries and sugar in a medium bowl
Muddle the blueberries gently with a muddler or the back of a spoon until they release their juices
Press the muddled blueberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, using a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible
Discard the solids
Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and water to the pitcher
Stir well
Add ice cubes to individual glasses before pouring the lemonade over the ice
Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and lemon slices
Notes
Fresh blueberries can be substituted with frozen blueberries if unavailable
Freshly squeezed lemon juice is recommended for best flavor; bottled can be used if needed
Adjust sugar amount to desired sweetness
