Ingredients
1 (9-inch) round chocolate cake (store-bought or homemade)
8 ounces cream cheese (full-fat, softened)
2 cups heavy whipping cream (chilled) or coconut cream
1 cup powdered sugar
6–8 fun-size Snickers bars (chopped)
1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup roasted salted peanuts (chopped; substitute with almonds/pecans)
1/2 cup chocolate syrup or ganache (for drizzling)
Instructions
Crumble the chocolate cake into bite-sized pieces. Spread on a baking sheet if desired to dry slightly.
In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add whipped (or chilled coconut cream) to form an airy mixture.
Fold in powdered sugar and a portion of the chopped Snickers and peanuts.
Layer the trifle: start with cake crumbles, followed by cream cheese mixture, then remaining Snickers, caramel sauce, and repeat layers.
Top with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and refrigerate for 1–2 hours to set.
Serve chilled, garnished with additional peanuts and caramel if desired.
Notes
Use halal-certified Snickers bars to ensure no pork-based gelatin.
Coconut cream works for dairy-free options; chill the bowl and whisk before use.
Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 2 days.
Assemble layers tightly for a cohesive presentation.
