Instructions
Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly combined.
Press crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Chill crust for 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and mix to combine.
Gradually incorporate chilled heavy whipping cream into the cream cheese mixture, folding gently to avoid deflating.
Pour cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust and smooth the surface.
Chill dessert for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, gently warm blueberry jam in a small saucepan until spreadable.
Top the chilled dessert with a spoonful of blueberry jam and sweeten if desired.
Spread fresh blueberries over the jam layer.
Return to refrigerator and chill for 3 additional hours to set.
Unmold carefully before serving.
Notes
For a non-dairy version, use vegan cream cheese and almond-based “whipping cream”.
Add 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture for extra brightness.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours; overnight is ideal.
Dessert can be made in individual ramekins for a crowd-pleasing serving style.
Store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
