Ingredients
1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling (no alcohol)
1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Whisk cake mix, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, and lemon juice in a large bowl
Pour half the mixture into a greased 9-inch round or 8×8-inch square baking dish
Spread 1 cup of the strawberry pie filling over the mixture
Pour remaining batter over the filling
Drizzle melted butter across the top
Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden and slightly jiggly in the center
Cool completely, then refrigerate for 2 hours before slicing

Refrigeration helps the layers set
Swap strawberry filling with mixed berry pie filling or fresh sliced fruit
Add a crumb topping: mix 1/2 cup сахара, 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs, 1 tbsp flour for extra texture
