1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.

2. Pour boiling water over oats. Let soak 15 minutes.

3. In a bowl, beat sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla.

4. Add soaked oats and mix well.

5. In a second bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

6. Combine wet and dry mixtures until smooth.

7. Pour into pan and bake for 35–40 minutes.
