24 chocolate wafer cookies (like Nilla wafers)
2 cups strawberry jam or preserves (or 4 cups finely chopped fresh strawberries)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz whipped topping or 3 cups whipped cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Press a layer of chocolate wafer cookies into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish
Blend cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth
Fold in whipped topping and vanilla extract until well combined
Spread a thin layer of strawberry preserves over the cookie base
Repeat layers: cookies, cream cheese mixture, preserves, ending with a topping layer
Chill for at least 4 hours to set before serving
Notes
For a vegan version, use dairy-free cream cheese and coconut milk
Use fresh strawberries with a splash of lemon juice to prevent browning
Cut into squares before chilling to ensure neat layers
