  • Total Time: 50
  • Yield: 8 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale

6 ripe peaches (about 4 cups sliced)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup rolled oats

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan
Sauté peach halves with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup flour in a skillet for 10 minutes until tender
Mix 3/4 cup flour, 3 tbsp brown sugar, salt, melted butter, and oats for streusel
Layer par-cooked peaches and milk in the prepared pan, leaving 1/2 inch of space
Sprinkle half the streusel over peaches, then top with remaining peach halves crosswise
Spread remaining streusel over the peaches and bake 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly

Notes

Chill streusel ingredients before mixing for better texture
Use peaches with consistent ripeness for even cooking
Storage: Keep leftovers covered at room temperature for 1 day or refrigerated for 3 days
