Ladyfingers (Savoiardi biscuits)
Mascarpone cheese
Heavy whipping cream
Granulated sugar
Strong coffee or espresso
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Optional: vanilla extract or amaretto
Instructions
1. Brew strong coffee or espresso and let it cool completely.
2. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
3. Mix mascarpone with sugar until smooth.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
5. Quickly dip ladyfingers into coffee (1–2 seconds).
6. Layer dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone cream in a dish.
7. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
8. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Notes
Don’t soak the ladyfingers too long.
For kids, use decaf.
You can swap eggs for cream to make it egg-free.
Add chocolate shavings for extra indulgence.
