Ingredients
Unsalted butter (softened)
Sugar
Egg
Vanilla extract
All-purpose flour
Salt
Jolly Rancher candies (or natural hard candies)
Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla.
2. Whisk flour and salt, then add to butter mix gradually.
3. Chill dough 30–60 mins. Roll and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
4. Use a smaller cutter to make window holes. Fill with crushed candies.
5. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 8–10 minutes until candies melt.
6. Cool completely on tray until “glass” centers harden.
Notes
✔ Crush candies finely for smooth melting.
✔ Line trays with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
✔ Let cookies cool fully for glass effect.
✔ Dough can be frozen in advance.
