Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, halved horizontally
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes.
4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
5. Add parmesan, Italian seasoning, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth.
6. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
You can substitute heavy cream with a mix of milk and butter for a lighter version. For added flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach to the sauce.
