Ingredients
Fresh or frozen cranberries

Water or orange juice
Orange zest

Instructions
1. Rinse cranberries well.
2. Add cranberries, sugar, and liquid to a saucepan.
3. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
4. Reduce heat and simmer 10–15 minutes.
5. Stir occasionally as berries burst.
6. Add zest or spices if desired.
7. Remove from heat once thickened.
8. Cool completely before serving.
Notes
Use orange juice for extra brightness.
Can be made up to 7 days in advance.
Freeze leftovers for up to 2 months.
