Description
This homemade Carvel-style ice cream cake features layers of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, a fudge crunch center, and whipped topping.
Ingredients
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 quart chocolate ice cream
2 cups crushed chocolate cookies
½ cup fudge sauce
2 cups whipped topping
Sprinkles or berries for decoration (optional)
Instructions
1. Let the ice cream soften slightly at room temperature.
2. Line a springform pan with parchment.
3. Spread the chocolate ice cream as the bottom layer and freeze.
4. Mix cookie crumbs with fudge sauce and layer on top. Freeze again.
5. Add vanilla ice cream as the final layer. Freeze overnight.
6. Unmold and frost with whipped topping.
7. Decorate as desired and serve slightly softened.
Notes
You can swap flavors like strawberry or mint for a custom version.
Store in freezer for up to 7 days in airtight container.
