Ingredients
Cake Base
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Color & Decorations
Blue, navy, yellow, orange food coloring
Buttercream or fondant for decoration
Chocolate chips or edible eyes
Cupcake liners (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your cake pan or cupcake tray.
2. Cream butter and sugar, then beat in the eggs one at a time.
3. Stir in vanilla extract, then add flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Divide batter and add food coloring for Bluey or duck cake parts.
5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
6. Carve or shape into Bluey duck or arrange cupcakes into a Bluey shape.
7. Frost using buttercream or cover with fondant details.
8. Add eyes, nose, ears, and any decorations. Chill until ready to serve.
Notes
Freeze cake slightly before carving for better precision.
